DS Elcobyg has always had a stringent approach to quality assurance. For example, it was the first concrete factory in Denmark to be certified in accordance with DS/EN ISO 9001. Since then, many other certifications and markings have been added.

Maintenance

Damage and wear to concrete can be limited or completely eliminated by protecting concrete surfaces with silicone, siloxane or a similar agent. It is also recommend that concrete is regularly and systematically checked. These checks can identify any defects and damage early on, before it has any irreversible consequences to your building.

Installation

When you purchase concrete elements from DS Elcobyg, you can choose to install the elements independently or DS Elcobyg can install them. If you decide that DS Elcobyg shall carry out the installation, the company will use one of its experienced partners in the field while DS Elcobyg’ specialists will be responsible for the overall management and project management.

Performance declaration

Concrete elements are CE marked in accordance with harmonised product standards.

CE marking is integrated in the EU’s provisions on construction products (the construction products directive) and means that production must be supervised.

Environmental product declaration in accordance with the standards ISO 14025 and DS/EN 15804 for the product category Construction Products.

The environmental product declaration has been prepared by the Danish Technological Institute, Building & Construction Department.
